Fusion-2 is aimed firmly at addressing the needs of the new digital IP products and has been developed to take advantage of Microsoft Windows Vista as well as running under Microsoft Windows XP. It has an array of new features including intelligent mapping, virtual monitors, integrated control of digital recordings & playback.

In practice, multiple cameras could be capable of viewing the same event; Fusion-2 allows the operator to treat these cameras independantly. If a subsequent event occurs the operator can create another monitor coupled with another event recording. When all events are complete the operator can stop the recordings & cancel down the event monitors
