A Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping plug-in interface is now available for Meyertech's Fusion2 Security Management Software.

GIS, when linked to Fusion2, provides an intelligent mapping environment for CCTV operators to navigate towns, cities and boroughs. Using GIS Ordnance Survey as the base, detailed composite maps can be constructed to include airports, shopping centres and buildings.

Most council's in the UK already use GIS based mapping solutions for other purposes which makes it a very cost efficient way for councils to get more out their public space systems.
