Opened just in time for Christmas, Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has completed work on a new bus and coach park and major revamp of its short-term car parking facilities. An important part of the project was the new car park management system which includes CCTV.

The installation was undertaken by Blue Wall Technologies of Dublin, ‘leaders in car parking security’

The contract which specified a Meyertech ZoneVu Series 3 video matrix provides surveillance of vehicle entry/exit lanes, PoF machines and the Customer Service Office. The cameras allow the operational staff to assist customers when using the intercom help points situated at all entry/exit lanes and PoF machines. These help points supplied by Complus Teltronic, are integrated with the ZoneVu system to provide a fully automated operation.

The scheme incorporates three operator control positions and has capacity for up to 256 cameras and domes. It has also been designed to integrate with the main DAA Airport Police system in the future.
