Meyertech last month completed the delivery of its largest order to date for the ZoneVu Series 3 analogue large scale video matrix. The project, which cannot be named, comprised over 17 cubicles each containing Series 3 modules which were built and delivered in record time to Tyco Integrated Systems and formed the heart of a video routing system.

Whilst a virtual digital matrix was initially considered it was rejected due to the sheer number of video paths it would have to handle and the quality of images required from it by the end client. The proven scalability of the Series 3 and its ability to maintain performance in very large systems meant it was perfectly matched not only the current requirements of the project but also any future expansion requirements.
