Welcome to the first issue of 2008 and may I take this opportunity to wish each of you a prosperous and healthy new year !
It promises to be an exciting one with the launch of Fusion-2 and ZoneVu Digital-IP products.
In addition, I can now announce that our new web site is up and running.
S K Meyers
We are pleased to launch our new website which, after listening to your feedback, has been completely re-designed. The first thing you will notice is the rolling flash area which gives a complete overview of Meyertech, its products and its markets. It incorporates controls for playing the movie and is accompanied by an uplifting soundtrack.
Navigation of the website is now more intuitive than ever with a structured menu bar which incorporates links to Meyertech Products, Services, Support, News & Events, Company and Contacts.
An example of the new structure is the Products section which, has been cross-referenced so if you are not familiar with our range but you know that you want a digital-IP based system you can simply select Digital-IP to get a list of suitable products.
So start exploring and discover how Meyertech products can transform your disparate security system into an integrated coherent one.
Be amongst the first in the world to see the future of CCTV Command and Control when we launch our Fusion-2 CCTV Management Software at: IIPSEC 2008: 29 – 31 January
Fusion-2 is Meyertech’s vision of the CCTV management system of the future. Fully user definable in every way but simplicity itself to operate, it allows the user to completely configure all of the controls relevant to their preferences and place them in the most convenient position for their use. The operator’s personal set up is then remembered and recalled whenever they logon, so that multiple users can use the same workstation without having to continually reconfigure it.
Meyertech’s trade mark low fatigue pastel maps are taken to new levels of usability, with the unique super smooth new CAD style pan and zoom mapping system, which allows the operator to drag the map around the screen for navigation and use a scroll wheel mouse to zoom in and out, giving complete flexibility over the map portion that is being viewed and with no degradation in quality.
The "stunning" new Virtual Monitor Wall (VMW) facilities provide the operator with powerful multi-screen layouts (up to 3 x3), without the costs normally associated with this feature. The VMW layouts are completely customisable and are controlled via a context menu which automatically updates according to the layout selected.
Further video windows can be opened by the operator to be used as spot monitors either overlaid on FUSION2 or on separate spot monitors.
